The purpose of th.Ls meeting tl8.S to review the bids which had been submitted
for the remodeling work 1n the library. The meeting was held at the library.
Bids submitted on remodeling were discussed. Note was IMde of the very
luge range of pr:tces. After a review of the specifications. Mr. Kreuser
suggested that perhaps we were not able to compare like items in .the bids
and that this might account for the range of pt'ices. Be suggested that
perhaps more expl'Lclt specifications be re",submitted.
Mr. WOlf made a mot ton that we rescind all the bids received and we put the
work out for bid agaln after rewriting tbe specifications. Thla motion was
seconded by Mr. Kreuser and passed unanimously by the board D.1.e1t1bers.
Mr. Kreuser offered to 'write the specifications and have them ready for
Mrs. Pelzmann as quickly as possible. Mrs. Pelzmann will then mall the
bids with a covering leuer asking that the 'new bids be returned before
our next regular Ubrary board meeting-..Wedl1esday, February 23.
Hr.. Sheehan moved fot' adjournment, this was seconded by Mr. ~lolf and
passed unanimously.
