called tbe meeting to order at 7:30 P.M..

by Mrs. Griesbach for their approval - seconded by Hr. Kapelka. A
1i8t of the vouchers i8 attac"heå hereto.
The mluutes of last month's meeting were reviewed by all members
present--Mr. Wolf made a motion that these minutes be approved 4S
written, this was seconded by Hr. Kapelka and un4n1moWJly passed.
A review and discussion followed regarding the varlous bids for
the remodeling work at the l1brary. In view of discrepancies
and amounts involved, it was decided to withhold any decision
untLL the 'ebruary meeting. In the meantime Hr. 'Jolf offered
to contact Mr. Gerald Lee. the city building inspector, ~egarding
h.l.s otær to oversee and contract the work.
!he Ap"propriation and Expenditure Report was dist-ributed and a
copy 1s attached to these minutes.
At the next meeting we should be sure to check withKrs. Pelamann
regarding the collection of lOllg-overdue books.
The amount of money in the "fine IlOnay account" was questioned by
Mr. Wolf. It wa8 not denntte as to where thls money 1s kept .:md
Hr. [Iolf thought it m1Shtbe safer in a bank or in an account at
the city hall--he wilt speak with the clerk-treasurer. This
would enable Mrs. PelØl8J1D. 1:0 have a small aIDOuut of cash on hand
and the larger portion of the money kept in a library petty cash fund
or a similar arrEi.ngement.
Having taken care of al1the essential business. a motion was made
for adjournment by Mrs.Hlmler, seconded by Mr. "Wolf.
