]'feeting convened at 7:30 P.II. Mr. Kreuser suggested that we
(~ons ider adopting a def1.nite policy regardíng a chairman and
vice-chairman to contiuct our meetings in the event that rÚ's.
Leichtfuss and lIrs. Sheehan would be unable to attend anyone
particular meeting. This will be decided upon at the August
meet ing .
The minutes of last month's meetIng were distributed by Hrs.
Himier ",~ho very I.dndly took over the seccetary's duties in
her absence. A mot1.0n was made for their ap provEÜ by Hrs.
Grie,:rbach and seconded by Hr. Kapelka. Hotion carried.

Senate Bill No. 529 was passed and enacted into law. There
was discussion among the Board members as to the exact
benefit to our library and community, hcn'iTeve.r, it Illras felt that furth.er clarifícation of the details w1.l1 be dissemenated
by the WIsconsin Library Commission.
HI's. Pelzi:1Jann reported that the book stat::ks have arrived so
the books can nOì~r be moved in the library. She advised that
the library page will be available to help and Hrs. Hlmier
offered the services 01' her boys. Hr. Kapellra will be on
hand to a 55 amble the staeks as soon as a definite date is set.
Hrs. I?elzmann read a questionnaire she had received from the
Public Relations Committee ,:-,f the Wis. L:ibrary A.ssoc. The
questionnaire was in L"egard to publíe relations servIces in
our area. After discussion and an o1'fer by Hr. Kreuser to put
new book titles in the District Office Newsletter, he mlwed
that Hrs. Peizmann answer the ques tions as she felt would be
to the bàst interest of Olll' city. The Boardllnanimously agreed.
Bills in the amount of $1,328.43 were reviewed by all members.
Hr. I:apelka made a motion for approval of their payment .. sec~onded
by !Irs. Leicl1tfuss, unanimously passed.
Copies of the !ppropriations and Expenditllres Report were d1.stribute~
and a copy of same is attachød to theæ minutes.

present the Library Board when the lLunic.ipal Site Coml11Íttee meets.
lutr. Wolle felt this actioo might be a bit premature, hm~ever, the
Board decided to write a letter to Hayor Gottfr1.ed advising him of
