Mr. Dahlen was - present to report wha.t he had learned at the, Town Board meeting of April 18, at which the matter of moving the library into the town hall basement and the subsequeBt necessity of having present users of this facility find new quarters arose. Opposition to the move had nothing to do with the development of the library but was catered around unwillingness of most groups to meet elsewhere than the town hall. They agreed that the basement is more suitable to Qccasional meetings of veterans t groups, etc.. thant to location of' a library. Mrs. H~cke had been informed that the Town Board would like the library board to meet with them about the matter soon, the date and time to be forthcoming. (Mrs. H.. had called the secretary about this bell'Dee the meeting.)
Bills in the amount of $25.84 were approved for p~nnent. Treasurer reported 8 balance of' $432.50. No money for the current budget year has yet been re- ceived.
