FINANCE COMMITTEE MINUTES
Tuesday, July 26, 2011
Muskego City Hall
Mayor Chiaverotti called the meeting to order at 6:15 p.m. Committee Members Ald.
Schaumberg, Fiedler and Werner were present as well as the Director of Finance and
Administration Sharon Mueller. Also present: Ald. Snead and Borgman. Those
present recited the Pledge of Allegiance. Ms. Mueller stated that the meeting was
noticed in accordance with the Open Meeting Law on July 22, 2011.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Ald. Fiedler moved for approval of the minutes of June 28, 2011. Ald. Werner
seconded; motion carried.
LICENSE APPROVALS
Operators
Ald. Werner moved to recommend approval of a temporary Operator’s License for
Arthur Benotti for the Community Festival and a regular Operator’s License for
Dawn Brust, Megan Burgard, Jennifer Cantrell, Kari Grabow, Kelly Grabow,
Michael Hilt, Trevor Hunt, Diane Jackson, Maureen Martin, Amy Sparks, Kerry
Streiff and William Villwock subject to the licensing requirements being
completed prior to issuance. Ald. Schaumberg seconded; motion carried.
Recommend Approval of a “Class A” Retailers’ License
Mr. Walter Koceja was present as the agent for Wally’s Fuel and Automotive. An
application was submitted for a “Class A” Retailers’ License to Sell Intoxicating Liquor
and Fermented Malt Beverages at S66 W14501 Janesville Road. Ald. Werner moved
to recommend approval of a “Class A” Retailers’ License for Wally’s Fuel and
Automotive d/b/a Badger Fuel (Walter Koceja, Agent). Ald. Fiedler seconded;
motion carried.
Recommend Approval of a Temporary License to Sell Fermented Malt Beverages
and Request to Waive All License Fees for the Muskego Community Festival
Mr. Bob Bankenbusch was present on behalf of the Muskego Community Festival. Ald.
Fiedler moved to recommend approval of a Temporary License to Sell Fermented
Malt Beverages for the Muskego Community Festival as well as waiving all the
respective license fees. Ald. Schaumberg seconded. The festival will be held on
August 26, 27 and 28. Motion carried.
Recommend Approval of Temporary License to Sell Fermented Malt Beverages
for Muskego Lions Club for August 5 “Jammin’ on Janesville” Event
Mr. Ken Bitter was present on behalf of the Muskego Lions Club. A pop up tent will be
set up to the west of the building that will be used as the designated area to sell the
fermented malt beverages. The organization is requesting the license for Dr.
DeWinter’s property located at S75 W17475 Janesville Road. Mr. Bitter noted that the
Lions Club did the June event at Firestone. Ald. Werner moved to recommend

approval of a Temporary License to Sell Fermented Malt Beverages for the
Muskego Lions Club for August 5. Ald. Schaumberg seconded; motion carried.
VOUCHER APPROVAL
Ald. Schaumberg moved to recommend approval of Utility Vouchers in the
amount $362,147.77. Ald. Fiedler seconded; motion carried.
Ald. Schaumberg moved to recommend approval of Tax Checks in the amount of
$2,928.80. Ald. Fiedler seconded; motion carried.
Ald. Schaumberg moved to recommend approval of General Vouchers in the
amount $210,143.63. Ald. Fiedler seconded; motion carried.
FINANCE DIRECTOR’S REPORT
Ms. Mueller noted that Quarterly Report for her department was included in the packet.
She stated that she is still waiting for official approval from the PSC for the water rate
increase.

Ald. Fiedler moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:25 p.m. Ald. Schaumberg
seconded; motion carried.
