Muskego City Hall
Mayor Chiaverotti called the meeting to order at 5:45 p.m. Committee Members Ald.
Schaumberg, Fiedler, and Werner were present. Also present: Ald. Snead, Harenda,
Borgman, Soltysiak, and Deputy Clerk Blenski. Those present recited the Pledge of
Allegiance. The Deputy Clerk stated that the meeting was noticed in accordance with
the Open Meeting Law.
LICENSE APPROVALS
Operators
Ald. Fiedler moved to recommend approval of a regular Operator’s License for
Lonny Eckmann, Colleen Gartzke, Nicole Harmeyer, Pete Karas, Mary Jo Schleif
and Mark Sommers subject to the licensing requirements being completed prior
to issuance. Ald. Werner seconded; motion carried.
Recommend Approval of “Class B” Retailers’ License - Sauced, LLC
Mr. Peter Karas was present regarding an application for a “Class B” Retailers’ License
for Sauced located at S78 W16355 Woods Road. His daughter will be the corporate
agent. It is anticipated that the establishment will open mid-May. Ald. Schaumberg
moved to recommend approval of a “Class B” Retailers’ License for Sauced, LLC.
Ald. Fiedler seconded; motion carried.
Recommend Approval of a Change of Agent and Amendment to Licensed
Premise for High Tide Muskego, LLC
High Tide Muskego LLC is requesting that the corporate agent be changed to Mr.
Robert Hoormann, who was present. In addition, the High Tide is also requesting a
permanent premise amendment to include the parking lot until midnight. Mr. Hoormann
stated that he would like to establish an outside smoking area and would like the
parking lot licensed for the upcoming “Jammin’ on Janesville” events and the parade.
After discussion, the Committee determined that it would approve an amendment to the
outside premise to include the parking lot for the first Jammin’ on Janesville event,
which will be held on June 3. Ald. Fiedler moved to recommend the change of
agent and to add the parking lot to the licensed premise for High Tide Muskego
on June 3 until 9:00 p.m. Ald. Schaumberg seconded; motion carried. The
remaining events that Mr. Hoormann would like to have his outside licensed for will be
discussed when the Committee reviews the renewal of the “Class B” liquor license for
High Tide Muskego.
NEW BUSINESS
Recommend Designating Public Depositories and Authorizing Withdrawal of City
of Muskego Monies
This is being done because the new Mayor must be named as a signatory. A resolution
naming the qualified depositories will be on the Council agenda tonight. Ald. Fiedler
moved to recommend approval. Ald. Werner seconded; motion carried.

Recommend Approval of Truck Purchase for DPW
Superintendent Delikat is proposing to replace a DPW truck for $28,175.76; $32,000
was budgeted. Ald. Fiedler noted that the purchase was recommended by the Public
Works Committee. Ald. Fiedler moved to recommend approval of the purchase.
Ald. Schaumberg seconded; motion carried.
VOUCHER APPROVAL
Ald. Schaumberg moved to recommend approval of Utility Vouchers in the
amount $333,642.82. Ald. Fiedler seconded; motion carried.
Ald. Schaumberg moved to recommend approval of General Vouchers in the
amount $318,453.07. Ald. Fiedler seconded; motion carried.
Ald. Schaumberg moved to recommend approval of Wire Transfers for Debt
Service in the amount $888,115.48. Ald. Fiedler seconded; motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT
Ald. Fiedler moved to adjourn the meeting at 6:05 p.m. Ald. Schaumberg
seconded; motion carried.
