FINANCE COMMITTEE MINUTES
Tuesday, February 22, 2011
Muskego City Hall
Mayor Johnson called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Committee Members Ald.
Fiedler, Snead and Werner were present. Also present: Ald. Harenda, Borgman,
Soltysiak and Schaumberg, and Deputy Clerk Blenski. Those present recited the
Pledge of Allegiance. The deputy stated that the meeting was noticed in accordance
with the Open Meeting Law.
LICENSE APPROVALS
Operators
Ald. Fiedler moved to recommend approval of a regular Operator’s License for
Donna Colman and Deanna Smul subject to the licensing requirements being
completed prior to issuance. Ald. Snead seconded; motion carried.
Recommend Approval of Change of Agent for Pizza Hut
Ms. Heather Stigler was present as the new agent for the “Class B” license held by PH
Hospitality Group LLC (d/b/a Pizza Hut). She stated that she has worked at the
establishment for 30 years and is aware of the responsibilities of being the agent. Ald.
Fiedler moved to recommend approval. Ald. Werner seconded; motion carried.
Recommend Approval of Outside Dance Permit - Marx Pioneer Inn
The Committee had questions for the owner who was not present. It was determined
that no action would be taken at this time since the outside dance was not until April 30.
(Note: Mr. Sobczak did appear at the February 22 Common Council meeting. The
Council took action on this item without a recommendation from the Finance
Committee.)
NEW BUSINESS
Recommend Release of Letter of Credit for Muskego Commerce Center West
Mayor Johnson noted that the City Engineer is recommending a full release of the letter
of credit for Muskego Commerce Center West. Ald. Fiedler moved to recommend
approval. Ald. Snead seconded; motion carried.
Recommend Release of Letter of Credit for Muskego Commerce Center East II
The Mayor stated that the City Engineer is also recommending a full release of the letter
of credit for Muskego Commerce Center East II. Ald. Fiedler moved to recommend
approval. Ald. Snead seconded; motion carried.
Approve Request to Increase Animal Apprehension Fee (Police Department)
Mayor Johnson stated that Police Chief Geiszler proposes to raise the fee for animal
apprehension from $23 to $30. The $30 fee is based on the cost of an officer’s time for
one hour. Ald. Werner moved to approve the increase from $23 to $30. Ald.
Snead seconded; motion carried.

VOUCHER APPROVAL
Ald. Snead moved to recommend approval of Utility Vouchers in the amount
$52,985.99. Ald. Fiedler seconded; motion carried.
Ald. Snead moved to recommend approval of Tax Checks in the amount of
$33,281.13. Ald. Fiedler seconded; motion carried.
Ald. Snead moved to recommend approval of General Vouchers in the amount
$374,061.85. Ald. Fiedler seconded; motion carried.
Ald. Snead moved to recommend approval of Wire Transfers for Debt Service in
the amount $342,685.00. Ald. Fiedler seconded; motion carried.
COMMUNICATIONS AND OTHER BUSINESS AS AUTHORIZED BY LAW
The Mayor noted that the City won the grievance.

Ald. Snead moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:07 p.m. Ald. Fiedler seconded;
motion carried.
