MINUTES OF MEETING HELD TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 13, 2005

The meeting was called to order at 7:02 PM by Mayor Damaske with Committee
Members Melcher, Madden and Salentine present along with Ald. Borgman, Patterson
and Schroeder, and Deputy Clerk Blenski. Ald. Buckmaster arrived at 7:17 PM. Those
present recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
Mayor Damaske stated the meeting was noticed in accordance with the open meeting
law.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Ald. Salentine moved to approve minutes of the meeting held September 7, 2005. Ald.
Melcher seconded; motion carried.
LICENSE APPROVALS
Operators
Ald. Salentine moved to recommend approval of the following new and renewal
operators’ licenses:

Review Subdivider’s Agreement and Letter of Credit - The Nursery
Ald. Salentine moved to recommend approval. Ald. Madden seconded; motion carried.
Review Bids for ADA Accessibility to Historic Old Town Hall
The following bids were received:
Absolute Construction Enterprises, Inc. $13,800
Ray Stadler Construction Co. $14,554
Rupel Construction, Inc. $18,800
Ald. Melcher moved to recommend acceptance of the low bid submitted by Absolute
Construction Enterprises, Inc. in the amount of $13,800. Ald. Salentine seconded; motion
carried.

Review Bids for Idle Isle Pavilion
The following bids were received:

Ald. Salentine moved to recommend acceptance of the low bid submitted by Absolute
Construction Enterprises, Inc. in the amount of $274,900. Ald. Melcher seconded;
motion carried.
REDUCTION IN LETTER OF CREDIT
Lindale Estates
Ald. Melcher moved to approve reduction in Letter of Credit for Lindale Estates in the
amount of $35,000 pursuant to recommendation of Engineering/Building Inspection
Director McMullen. Ald. Madden seconded; motion carried.
St. Andrew’s Village
Ald. Salentine moved to approve reduction in Letter of Credit for St. Andrew’s Village in
the amount of $121,268.76 pursuant to recommendation of Engineering/Building
Inspection Director McMullen. Ald. Melcher seconded; motion carried.
Fireside Orchard
Ald. Melcher moved to approve reduction in Letter of Credit for Fireside Orchard in the
amount of $299,250 pursuant to recommendation of Engineering/Building Inspection
Director McMullen contingent on the Developer’s Deposit being replenished. Ald.
Salentine seconded; motion carried.
VOUCHER APPROVAL
Ald. Salentine moved for approval of payment of General Vouchers in the amount of
$695,298.58 and Utility Vouchers in the amount of $79,661.24. Ald. Madden
seconded; motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT
Ald. Melcher moved to adjourn at 7:20 PM. Ald. Madden seconded; motion carried.
