MINUTES OF MEETING HELD TUESDAY, AUGUST 9, 2005

The meeting was called to order at 6:50 PM by Mayor Damaske with Committee
Members Salentine and Madden present along with Ald. Borgman and Schroeder, and
Deputy Clerk Blenski. Committee Member Melcher arrived during the meeting. Those
present recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
Mayor Damaske stated the meeting was noticed in accordance with the open meeting
law.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Ald. Madden moved to approve minutes of the meeting held August 3, 2005. Ald.
Salentine seconded; motion carried.
LICENSE APPROVALS
Ald. Salentine moved to recommend approval of the following new operators’ licenses:
Ronald L. Betker Katelyn J. Kassulke
Laura A. Kleber Sarah Kleber
Katie M. Schell w/ 3,6,9,& 12 month review
Ald. Madden seconded; motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS
Review Bids - Moorland Road Skate Park - Concrete
The following bid was received:
Showcase Concrete $24,375
Ald. Salentine moved to recommend acceptance of bid submitted by Showcase
Concrete in the amount of $24,375. Ald. Madden seconded; motion carried.

Ald. Salentine moved to recommend acceptance of bid submitted by True Ride in the
amount of $100,966.80. Ald. Madden seconded; motion carried.
Review Bids - 2005 Road Improvement Program
The following bids were received:
Black Diamond Group $711,587.70
Payne & Dolan $639,875.95
Ald. Salentine moved to recommend acceptance of bid submitted by Payne & Dolan in
the amount of $639,875.95. Ald. Madden seconded; motion carried.
VOUCHER APPROVAL
Ald. Salentine moved for approval of payment of General Vouchers in the amount of
$453,539.26 minus $624.75 for Computer Telephony, Inc. vouchers, Utility Vouchers in
the amount of $78,624.22 and Tax Checks in the amount of $8,291.47. Ald. Madden
seconded; motion carried.
