City of Muskego – 2005 Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal (CAMA) Requirements
The City of Muskego will be bringing the CAMA application that is currently run by Waukesha
County in-house, as Waukesha County is getting out of the CAMA business and will no longer
support the program after 2005.
The following are requirements of the City of Muskego for this project:
City of Muskego shall purchase the Server and install it into the existing Domain as a
member Server
CLT shall install the Oracle database and current version of the IAS software on the
server, and load the data from the Waukesha County database
CLT shall train the City of Muskego IS Director and Computer Specialist with the
required database skills to run and maintain the database in the future. These staff have
prior experience running various Microsoft SQL Server and IBM DB2 databases, but
have no prior experience with Oracle.
CLT shall build an IMPORT Interface from the new Waukesha County EZ Access Tax
System. It should include the same information as the existing interface, such as name,
property address, mailing address, tax id, and legal. As now, it will be run monthly to
update the CAMA assessment fields.
CLT shall build an EXPORT Interface to the new Waukesha County EZ Access Tax
System. It should mirror the existing Interface that was created by Waukesha County, and
should include values such as tax id, land, improvement, total, and property
classification. It will be run annually to export the new values to the tax system. The
scripts written by Waukesha County can be used, but may need to be modified if the data
structures of the CLT programs have changed. Waukesha County believes that EX
Access will handle the identical format that the P390 system currently uses.
The implementation should be completed by December 31, 2005 when the system should
be fully operational.
