Mayor Slocomb called the meeting to order at 7:05 PM. In attendance were Committee Members Ald.
Salentine, Ald. Schroeder, and Ald. Madden, Finance Director Dawn Gunderson, Ald. Borgman, Acting
Clerk-Treasurer Jill Blenski and those per attached sheet.
Those present recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
The meeting was posted in accordance with the Open Meeting Law on May 28, 2004.
REVIEW OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING
The minutes of the May 25, 2004 Finance Committee Meeting were reviewed. Ald. Salentine moved to
approve the minutes. Seconded by Ald. Madden. Motion carried 3-0.
LICENSE APPROVALS
Ald. Salentine moved to recommend approval of Operator’s License for Shane Gorn and April
Webber subject to receipt of fees, favorable police reports, and verification of schooling. Seconded
by Ald. Madden. Motion carried 3-0. Ald. Salentine moved to amend Pizza Hut’s license to change
the agent to Robert J. Chvosta. Ald. Madden seconded. Motion carried 3-0.
Temporary Class “B” Retailer’s License – Water Bugs Ski Team, Inc. (7/3/04– An application was
received from the Water Bugs Ski Team, Inc. for a Temporary Class “B” Retailers License for event to be
held at Idle Isle Park, W182S6666 Hartke Dr. Fermented malt beverages will be sold at the concession
stand and consumed in the parking lot. Ald. Salentine moved to recommend approval of Temporary
Class “B” License for event being held by Water Bugs Ski Team, Inc. on July 3, 2004 from 4:00 PM to
Midnight and subject to receipt of fees and favorable police report. Seconded by Ald. Madden.
Motion carried 3-0.
REVIEW 2004-2005 LICENSE APPLICATIONS
The Committee reviewed spreadsheets provided by Deputy Clerk Jill Blenski. Also reviewed were the police
incident reports (if any) for each establishment.
Archery/Trap/Rifle License – Ald. Salentine moved to recommend approval of Archery/Trap/Rifle
License for the following establishment for 2004-2005, with Boxhorn’s Gun Club and Hunter’s Nest
contingent upon Building Department reinspection. Seconded by Ald. Schroeder. Motion carried 3-
0.
