MINUTES OF MEETING HELD TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23, 2003
The meeting was called to order at 6:33 pm by Mayor Slocomb with Committee Members
Petfalski, Salentine and Schroeder present. Also present were Ald. Madden, Plan Director
Turk and Deputy Clerk Blenski. Those present recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
Mayor Slocomb noted the meeting was properly noticed in accordance with the open meeting
law.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Ald. Salentine moved to approve minutes of the meeting held September 17, 2003. Ald.
Petfalski seconded; motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS
Review 2004 Urban Forestry Grant Program Application
Ald. Salentine moved to recommend approval of the application. The anticipated cost of the
program is $9,680. The City’s financial commitment of $4,170 is primarily provided in the form
of labor, services and equipment. Ald. Schroeder seconded; motion carried.
Review GIS Fees Charged for Paper
The Plan Department currently prints requests for GIS records on standard grade paper and
charges accordingly. In an effort to accommodate requests for premium paper, Mr. Turk is
proposing the following fees be established:
GIS SERVICES - STANDARD
$1.50 per lineal foot
Public Application - Standard Paper
$3.00 per lineal foot
Public Application - Premium Paper
GIS SERVICES - CUSTOM
$1.50 per lineal foot
Custom Product - Standard Paper
$3.00 per lineal foot
Custom Product - Premium Paper
$5.00 per lineal foot
Custom Product - Professional Glossy Paper
LARGE FORMAT B/W MAP COPIES
Cadastral 18”
$3.00 per lineal foot
Zoning 36”
Subdivision Plat
Topographical 36”
Ald. Petfalski moved to recommend the above fees. Ald. Salentine seconded; motion carried.
VOUCHER APPROVAL
Ald. Petfalski moved to recommend approval of payment of General Vouchers in the amount
of $304,427.61 and Utility Vouchers in the amount of $164,492.52. Ald. Schroeder seconded;
motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT
Ald. Petfalski moved to adjourn at 6:45 pm. Ald. Salentine seconded; motion carried.
