MINUTES OF MEETING HELD TUESDAY, MAY 27, 2003
The meeting was called to order at 7:02 pm by Mayor Slocomb with Committee
Members Petfalski, Salentine and Schroeder present. Also present were Ald.
Buckmaster and Madden, Clerk-Treasurer Marenda, and Deputy Clerk Blenski. Ald.
Damaske and Patterson arrived during the meeting. Those present recited the Pledge of
Allegiance.
Mayor Slocomb noted the meeting was properly noticed in accordance with the open
meeting law.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Ald. Salentine moved to approve minutes of the meeting held May 21, 2003. Ald.
Petfalski seconded; motion carried.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Approval of MRED Planned Development Retention Pond Maintenance Agreement #1
(Lands East of Moorland Road)
This item was deferred at the May 21 meeting to allow revisions to be made to the
agreement to reflect that the name of the condominium association is Candlewood
(instead of Sandalwood). That has now been done. Ald. Salentine moved to
recommend approval. Ald. Schroeder seconded; motion carried with Ald. Petfalski
abstaining.
NEW BUSINESS
Approval of Water Easement Agreement Between the City and St. Leonard Congregation
Mayor Slocomb stated the agreement was not ready for a recommendation at this time.
Ald. Petfalski moved to defer. Ald. Schroeder seconded; motion carried.
Approval of Early Start Construction Agreement for MRED (Janesville/Moorland)
Associates LP and Aldi, Inc.
The agreement would allow Aldi, Inc. to begin construction prior to all of the
improvements being installed. Ald. Salentine moved to recommend approval. Ald.
Petfalski seconded; motion carried.
REDUCTION IN LETTER OF CREDIT
The following reductions were approved upon the recommendation of Sean McMullen.
Ald. Salentine moved to approve reduction in the Letter of Credit in the amount of
$581,340.95 for the Settlement on Woods Road. Ald. Schroeder seconded; motion
carried.
Ald. Petfalski moved to approve reduction in the Letter of Credit in the amount of
$25,000 for Quietwood Creek. Ald. Schroeder seconded; motion carried.
Ald. Petfalski moved to approve reduction in the Letter of Credit in the amount of
$65,131.01 for Riverview Court. Ald. Salentine seconded; motion carried.

Ald. Salentine moved to approve reduction in the Letter of Credit in the amount of
$262,745.38 for the Big Muskego Estates Watermain Extensions. Ald. Schroeder
seconded; motion carried.
VOUCHER APPROVAL
Ald. Salentine moved to recommend approval of payment of General Vouchers in the
amount of $1,318,613.02, Utility Vouchers in the amount of $45,483.79, and Tax
Checks in the amount of $3,526.69. Ald. Schroeder seconded; motion carried.
COMMUNICATIONS AND OTHER BUSINESS AS AUTHORIZED BY LAW
Ald. Petfalski noted that both he and Ald. Schroeder will not be able to attend the July 8
Finance Committee meeting so the meeting will be canceled.

Ald. Petfalski moved to adjourn at 7:20 pm. Ald. Schroeder seconded; motion carried.
