MINUTES OF MEETING HELD TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 2002
The meeting was called to order at 7:02 pm by Mayor De Angelis with Committee
Members Slocomb, Sanders and Salentine present. Also present were Ald. Le Doux
and Petfalski, Engineering/Building Inspection Director McMullen, and Deputy Clerk
Blenski. Those present recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
The Mayor stated the meeting was noticed in accordance with the Open Meeting Law.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Ald. Sanders moved to approve the February 20, 2002 minutes. Ald. Salentine
seconded; motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS
1. Review Moorland Road South Road Assessment Policy
Mr. McMullen stated there were some minor technical corrections made to the policy
following review at the Public Works Committee meeting. The assessment policy is
project specific and only for the new Moorland Road section from the intersection at
Janesville Road to Woods Road. It does not include the section of Durham Drive to be
reconstructed. The affected property owners are the City, Towne Realty (Candlewood
Creek) and Maciolek Limited Partnership. Ald. Salentine moved to recommend
approval. Ald. Slocomb seconded; motion carried.
VOUCHER APPROVAL
Ald. Sanders moved to recommend approval of payment of General Vouchers in the
amount of $515,656.35 and Utility Vouchers in the amount of $292,858.52. Ald.
Salentine seconded; motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT
Ald. Slocomb moved to adjourn at 7:15 pm. Ald. Salentine seconded; motion carried.
