FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO Approved
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD TUESDAY, AUGUST 28, 2001
The meeting was called to order at 7:05 PM by Mayor De Angelis with Committee
Members Slocomb, Salentine, and Sanders present. Aldermen Le Doux and Petfalski
were also present as well as Plan Director Turk and Deputy Clerk Blenski.
The Mayor stated the meeting was noticed in accordance with the Open Meeting Law.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Ald. Slocomb moved to approve the August 22, 2001 minutes. Ald. Salentine
seconded; motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS
1. Subdivider’s Agreement, Letter of Credit and Cost Breakdown -
The Reserve at Champions Village
Mr. Turk reviewed the documents with the committee. The letter of credit is in the
amount of $472,900. Ald. Slocomb moved to recommend approval. Ald. Sanders
seconded; motion carried.
2. Exemption from County Library Tax
Ald. Slocomb moved to recommend approval. Ald. Sanders seconded; motion carried.
The Mayor stated that in the past the Clerk signed an Application for Exemption.
However, now the exemption notice must be supported by an ordinance or resolution
enacted by the governing body.
VOUCHER APPROVAL
Ald. Salentine moved to recommend approval of payment of General Vouchers in the
amount of $467,209.71 and Utility Vouchers in the amount of $651,219.05. Ald.
Sanders seconded; motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT
Ald. Slocomb moved to adjourn at 7:14 PM. Ald. Sanders seconded; motion carried.
