MINUTES OF MEETING HELD TUESDAY, MARCH 27, 2001
The meeting was called to order at 7:06 p.m. by Mayor De Angelis with Committee
Members Slocomb, Salentine and Sanders present. Lynn Kurer of Waylyn, Inc. was
also present.
The Mayor stated the meeting was noticed in accordance with the Open Meeting Law.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Ald. Slocomb moved to approve the March 21, 2001 minutes. Ald. Salentine seconded;
motion carried.
LICENSE APPROVALS
Application for Outside Dance - Waylyn, Inc.
Lynn Kurer submitted an application for an Outside Dance Permit for Bushyfest to be
held on July 20, 21, and 22, 2001. The Committee discussed the application at the
March 21 meeting. The Mayor stated this item was placed on the agenda for further
clarification of the license conditions. Ald. Salentine moved to recommend approval of
an Outside Dance permit for Waylyn, Inc. with music allowed until midnight on Friday
and Saturday (July 20 and 21) and until 10:00 p.m. on Sunday (July 22). Licensing of
the parking lot and patio is extended until 1:30 a.m. for Friday and Saturday of the
event. In addition the tent is to be placed on the west side of the building with side
screening. Ald. Slocomb seconded. Motion carried. It was noted that the conditions
are the same as in past years.
VOUCHER APPROVAL
Ald. Sanders moved to recommend approval of payment of General Vouchers in the
amount of $374,275.42 and Utility Vouchers in the amount of $737,060.83. Ald.
Slocomb seconded; motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT
Ald. Sanders moved to adjourn at 7:11 p.m. Ald. Slocomb seconded; motion carried.
