FM091200 FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO Approved MINUTES OF MEETING HELD TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2000 The meeting was called to order at 7:15 p.m. by Mayor De Angelis with Committee Members Slocomb, Salentine and Sanders present. Also present were Aldermen Chiaverotti and Wichgers, Engineering and Building Inspection Director McMullen, Plan Director Turk, and Deputy Clerk Blenski. The Mayor stated the meeting was noticed in accordance with the Open Meeting Law. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Ald. Salentine moved for approval of the September 6, 2000 minutes. Ald. Slocomb seconded; motion carried. UNFINISHED BUSINESS 1. Reconsideration of Lakewood Development Cost Breakdown Ald. Salentine moved for reconsideration. Ald. Slocomb seconded; motion carried. Mr. McMullen presented the following changes to the cost breakdown, which reflect a reduction of $38,000: #2 Site Grading-Landscaping g. Erosion control - $35,000 reduced to $32,000. Vegetation retainage is included and will be identified. #8 Special/Misc Improvements d. Other - $35,000 removed. The amount represented cost for soil erosion already included in #2 g. Ald. Salentine moved to amend the Cost Breakdown for Lakewood Development to include the changes presented by Mr. McMullen reflecting a total project estimate of $657,920.25. Ald. Slocomb seconded; motion carried. 2. Reconsideration of Pegarl LLP Cost Breakdown Ald. Salentine moved for reconsideration. Ald. Sanders seconded; motion carried. Mr. McMullen noted a reduction in the total project estimate from $86,888 to $72,500. This is primarily because the developers received an actual bid to do the force main work which is substantially less than the amount included in the initial cost breakdown. Ald. Sanders moved to approve the amended Cost Breakdown for Pegarl/Rausch. Ald. Slocomb seconded; motion carried. Finance Committee Minutes Page 2 9/12/00 VOUCHER APPROVAL Ald. Salentine moved to recommend approval of payment of General Vouchers in the amount of $1,578,001.59 and Utility Vouchers in the amount of $102,432.43. Ald. Sanders seconded; motion carried.
