MINUTES OF MEETING HELD FRIDAY, July 7, 2000
Mayor De Angelis called the meeting to order at 9:40 AM. Also present were Committee Members Salentine
and Slocomb, Finance Director Dawn Gunderson and Engineer Sean McMullen. Ald. Sanders was absent
and excused.

NEW BUSINESS
Reconsideration of Movie Plex Restoration Agreements - Engineer McMullen explained to the Committee
that at their May 17, 2000 meeting they approved a quote from Schaefer Snowplowing and Grading LLC to
perform grading and restoration work at the Muskego Movie Plex site. Due to delays in the work and the
contractor trying to charge 20% additional costs for their service since they did not provide the topsoil or haul
it. The contractor is also asking for 50% of the funds ( approximately $ 30,000) to purchase materials for the
site Ald. Salentine moved to terminate the agreement with Schaefer Snowplowing and Grading LLC
and request final billing for costs to date. Seconded by Ald. Slocomb. Carried by all.
Engineer McMullen presented a proposal from Sunny Slope Grading for the grading and restoration with
regard to the Muskego Movie Plex Site. The estimate to grade and restore the site is at a much lower costs
than originally quoted. Ald. Salentine moved to direct the Engineer to contract for the grading and
restoration of the Muskego Movie Plex Site and approved the funding of the work not to exceed
$35,000. Seconded by Ald. Slocomb. Carried by all.
