FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD TUESDAY, JANUARY 27, 1998
The meeting was called to order at 7:10 p.m. by Mayor De Angelis with Committee
members Salentine and Sanders present. Also in attendance were Aldermen Slocomb
and Patterson (arrived at 7:21 p.m.), and Deputy Clerk Blenski. Alderman D’Acquisto
was absent.
The minutes of the January 21, 1998 meeting were reviewed. Alderman Salentine
moved to correct the paragraph entitled, “Further discussion of Fire Department
Rescue Fees” to indicate that Alderman Salentine seconded the motion and not
Alderman Sanders and to note that the vote was 2 in favor with Alderman D’Acquisto
abstaining. Alderman Sanders seconded; motion carried.
There were no licenses to review.
The Mayor noted the meeting was noticed in accordance with the open meeting law.
Voucher Approval
Alderman Salentine moved for approval of General Fund vouchers in the amount of
$738,903.82, Tax Checks in the amount of $13,380.74 and Utility Vouchers in the
amount of $96,001.45. Alderman Sanders seconded, motion carried.
Release of Funds
A memo from the Director of Planning stated that a calculation error occurred in the
release of funds for Miller Townhouses. The Finance Committee approved a release in
the amount of $3,950 at their January 21, 1998 meeting. The actual amount released
should have been $4,675. Alderman Salentine moved to correct the amount of the
release of funds for Miller Townhouses to $4,675. Alderman Sanders seconded;
motion carried.
Alderman Salentine moved to approve a release of funds in the amount of $112,775
from the letter of credit for Park Estates as recommended by the Director of Planning.
Alderman Sanders seconded; motion carried.
Alderman Sanders moved to close the developer’s deposit account for Candlewood
Creek and release the remaining balance in the amount of $216.38. Alderman
Salentine seconded; motion carried.

Alderman Sanders moved to adjourn at 7:22 p.m. Seconded by Alderman Salentine,
motion carried.
