MINUTES OF MEETING HELD WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 1997
The meeting was called to order at 7:15 PM by Chairman De
Angelis. Also present were committee members D'Acquisto,
Sanders and Suhr, Finance Director Dawn R. Gunderson, Clerk-Treasurer Jean Marenda, Grant Administrator Mark Paulat and those per the attached list.
The committee noted that the meeting was posted on January 31, 1997, in accordance with the Open Meeting Law.
Ald. Suhr moved to approve the following applications for
Operator's Licenses subject to receipt of fees, favorable police
report and verification of schooling:
Jill Protzman
Deanna Mecha Robert Scaffidi
Seconded by Ald. D'Acquisto, motion carried 3-O.
Ald. D'Acquisto moved to approve application for Operator's
License for Joshua Briggs. Seconded by Ald. Sanders, motion carried 3-O. Ald. D'Acquisto moved to approve application for Operator's License for Lisa Albritton. Seconded by Ald. Suhr, motion carried 3-O.
The committee reviewed the minutes of the previous meeting.
Clerk-Treasurer Jean Marenda appeared before the committee to
continue discussion on her request for additional compensation
for Comptroller's duties. The committee reviewed information
received from the City Attorney and League of Wisconsin Municipalities. After further discussion, Ald. Suhr moved to
refer to Committee Of The Whole meeting on February 13, 1997,
without a recommendation. Seconded by Ald. D'Acquisto, motion
carried 3-O.
The committee welcomed Finance Director Dawn R. Gunderson to the
meeting.
Mark Paulat, Grant Administrator, appeared before the committee
to review application for 1997 Priority Watershed Grant. The
City is currently involved in water quality enhancement projects
with funding provided by the Wisconsin Department of Natural
Resources Nonpoint Source Program and has received funding for
several projects. Ald. Sanders moved to recommend approval of
resolution to authorize and support 1997 Non Point Source
Priority Watershed Grant submittals. Seconded by Ald. Suhr, motion carried 3-O.
Ald. Sanders moved to approve release of funds for Plum Creek East in the amount of $44,686 subject to developer placing
$4,686.00 in Developer's Deposit to insure behind the curb restoration. Seconded by Ald. Suhr, motion carried 3-O.

Ald. D'Acquisto moved to approve release of $1,405.93 for
engineering for Muskego Regency. Seconded by Ald. Sanders,
motion carried 3-O.
The committee reviewed request for all funds in the Letter of
Credit funds for Meadow Green, Meadow Green-West, I II III, in the amount of $47,076.53. After engineering and staff review,
Ald. D'Acquisto moved to release $37,086.53, with $25,778.19 being released to the developer and $11,308.34 going to the City
of Muskego for unpaid balances. This release will result in a
balance of $9,990.00 in the Letter of Credit funds to cover the
cost of completing punch list items ($9,340 for punch list
repairs and $650 for engineering & legal). Seconded by Ald.
Suhr, motion carried 3-O.
Ald. Suhr moved to approve release of funds for Deer Creek
Subdivision engineering in the amount of $118.60. Seconded by
Ald. D'Acquisto, motion carried 3-O.
Ald. D'Acquisto moved to adjourn at 8:45 PM. Seconded by Ald.
Suhr, motion carried 3-O.
