FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD TUESDAY, AUGUST 26, 1997
The meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m. by Mayor De Angelis. Also present were
Committee members D’Acquisto and Salentine. Committee member Sanders was
absent. Aldermen Pionek, Slocomb and Woodard and Deputy Clerk Blenski were also
present.
The Mayor noted the meeting was noticed in accordance with the open meeting law.
NEW BUSINESS
The Committee acknowledged receipt of Complaint for Revocation of Liquor License for
the New Klub 24. Alderman D’Acquisto asked if the city attorney concurs with
paragraph 2 regarding the issue of residency. Mayor De Angelis responded that the
issue has not been addressed at this time; it will be considered at the hearing. Mayor
also stated that Attorney Molter would continue to confer with Attorney Theobald
regarding the possible surrender of the license. The attorney recommends that at this
time the City proceed to hold the hearing. Alderman D’Acquisto moved to recommend
authorizing the issuance of a summons as to complaint received. Alderman Salentine
seconded, carried.
RELEASE OF FUNDS
Alderman D’Acquisto moved for approval of release of funds for Deer Creek in the
amount of $47. Alderman Salentine seconded, carried.
VOUCHER APPROVAL
Ald. D’Acquisto moved for approval of General Fund vouchers in the amount of
$2,151,582.21 and Utility Vouchers in the amount of $508,238.70. Ald. Salentine
seconded, motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT
Ald. Salentine moved to adjourn at 7:13 p.m. Seconded by Ald. D’Acquisto, motion
carried.
