FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD TUESDAY, JULY 22, 1997
The meeting was called to order at 7:02 PM by Mayor De Angelis. Also present were
Committee Members D’Acquisto and Salentine. Committee Member Sanders was
absent. Aldermen Pionek, Slocomb and Woodard and Clerk-Treasurer Marenda were
also present.
The Mayor noted the meeting was noticed in accordance with the open meeting law.
NEW BUSINESS
The committee reviewed the hiring of an environmental appraiser for the proposed
library site. Mayor De Angelis presented the scope of services. Ald. D’Acquisto moved
to accept the quote of Sigma Environmental Services in the amount of $1,900, and to
authorize the Mayor, in consultation with the City Attorney to execute any necessary
documents in the name of the City. Seconded by Ald. Salentine, motion carried.
The committee discussed securing a certified survey map for the proposed library
parcel. Mayor presented quotes as follows: Metropolitan Engineering - $1,400;
Interline - $2,800; Ruekert & Mielke - $2,400. Ald. D’Acquisto moved to accept the
quote of Metropolitan Engineering in the amount of $1,400, subject to verification that
the quote includes a field shoot with one-foot contours, piping and monumentation, and
to authorize the Mayor, in consultation with the City Attorney to execute any necessary
documents in the name of the city. Seconded by Ald. Salentine, motion carried.
VOUCHER APPROVAL
Ald. D’Acquisto moved for approval of general fund vouchers in the amount of
$358,688.65 and utility vouchers in the amount of $314,585.85. Ald. Salentine
seconded, motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT
Ald. D’Acquisto moved to adjourn at 7:23 PM. Seconded by Ald. Salentine, motion
carried.
