MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 23, 1996
The meeting was called to order at 7:02 P.M. by Chairman De Angelis. Also present were Committee Members D'Acquisto, Sanders and Suhr, and Aldermen Salentine, Patterson and Pionek,
and Clerk-Treas. Marenda.
Clerk-Treas. Marenda noted the meeting was noticed in
accordance with the Open Meeting Law.
Aid. Suhr moved to correct paragraph 4 of 7/17/96 minutes to
change vote from 3-O to 2-O. Sanders seconded, carried.
The Mayor presented a proposed amended resolution creati,ng
temporary part-time clerical or temporary part-time staff
secretary position, depending on how the Police Chief intends
the position to be filled on a temporary basis. It was
previously reported the former employee in the staff secretary
position would accept the temporary position, but that has not
yet been determined, so this resolution would allow Chief to
hire either clerical or staff secretary help on a temporary
basis at a pay rate to be determined by experience at the discretion of the Chief in consultation with the Mayor or
acting Mayor. This temporary position will go away once a
permanent replacement has been selected, but no later than
12/31/96. Ald. Sanders moved to approve the language in the
proposed resolution #172-96. Ald. 3-o.
Ald. D'Acquisto moved for approval
Vouchers in amount of $289,057.66,
Utility Vouchers for $212,050.47.

Ald. Suhr moved to adjourn at 7:15
