FCM19960528FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD TUESDAY, MAY 28, 1996
The meeting was called to order at 7:03 P.M. by Chairman De
Angelis. Also present were Committee Members D'Acquisto and
Suhr. Aldermen Patterson (arrived at 7:09), Pionek, Rasmussen
and Salentine were also present. Committee Member Sanders was
not present. Deputy Clerk Blenski was present to record the
minutes.
It was noted that the meeting was noticed on May 22, 1996 in
accordance with the Open Meetings Law.
Mayor stated that an Agreement for a Holding Tank for George
Steinhaus was previously approved by the City and recorded with
the Register of Deeds. Since that time, the property owner did a
land division separating the commercial site which is served by
the holding from the remainder of his land. Mr. Steinhaus' house
was destroyed by fire and he is attempting to rebuild it but has
encountered difficulty because the recorded document identifies
the tax key number of the orginal parcel. The legal description
on the Agreement needs to be amended so the correct tax key
number of the parcel served by the holding tank is identified.
Alderman D'Acquisto moved to recommend approval subject to the
language contained in the resolution to be acted on later this
evening by the Common Council. He further waived the need for a
performance bond. Alderman Suhr seconded; motion carried.
Alderman Suhr moved to recommend approval of the Lease Agreement
between the City of Muskego and George Kuzmin. It was noted that
Mr. Kuzmin also intends to sell bait. Alderman D'Acquisto
seconded; motion carried.
Alderman D'Acquisto moved to recommend approval of the following
vouchers :
General Vouchers $ 2,094,975.55
Tax Checks 1,899.68
Utility Vouchers 310,315.64
Alderman Suhr seconded, carried.
Alderman Suhr moved to adjourn at 7:13 P.M. Seconded by Ald.
D'Acquisto, motion carried.
Respectfully submitted,
