MINUTES OF MEETING HELD WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, 1993
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 PM by Mayor De Angelis.
Also present were Committee Members Patterson, Sanders and Dumke, Ald. Taube (arr. 9:00 PM), Ald. Misko (arr. 10:00 PM),
City Clerk Marenda and Building Inspector Dykstra.
Chuck Dykstra presented the 1994 Operating Budgets of the Planning and Building Inspection Departments. The Planning
Dept. budget for Ordinance Updates was reduced from $10,000 to
$4,200 because it was felt the new Planning Director would not
have the Zoning Ordinance rewrite completed in 1994. $2,000
would be for Zoning Ordinance update and $2,200 for codification
of Land Division Ordinance. Erosion Control ordinance update to
be moved to Building Inspection budget. Estimated cost to be
determined.
City Clerk Marenda presented the 1994 Operating Budgets of City
Clerk/Comptroller, Administration and City Hall.
The Committee reviewed the Treasurer's 1994 Operating Budget.
The Committee deferred review of Assessor's Budget to the
October 6th Finance Committee meeting due to questions regarding the revaluation project.
The Clerk was requested to amend the budgets of Clerk and Treasurer to reflect the salary increases approved by the
Council on g/2%/93.
Mayor De Angelis presented the Mayor/Council budget.
Ald. Dumke moved to adjourn at 11:OO PM. Ald. Sanders seconded,
carried.
