MINUTES OF MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 9, 1993
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman
Salentine. Also present were Committee Members Patterson, Dumke and Sanders, Ald. Misko, Ald. Schneider, Ald. Taube, City Clerk Jean Marenda and Police Chief Johnson.
The Committee reviewed AS/400 mirroring and the IBM Performance
Management Agreement which was deferred from the previous
meeting. Ald. Patterson moved to approve purchase AS/400
mirroring from Capital Budget in the amount of $34,269, and a transfer from Contingency at year end will be made if
insufficient funds remain in the Capital accounts. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried. Ald. Patterson moved to deny IBM
Performance Management Agreement. Seconded by Ald. Dumke,
motion carried 2-l with Ald. Sanders casting dissenting vote.
The Committee further reviewed Resolution #3-93, Approval of Amendment to Personnel Code for Management and Other
Non-represented employees of the City of Muskego (l-l-93 thru
12/31/95). Ald. Sanders moved to approve the following:

The Committee reviewed" t roposed amendment to Section 17.05 of
Non-represented Personnel Code. Ald. Dumke moved to stay with
existing language that allows a retiree to be.in the City's health insurance plan with 10 years of service and age 55.
Seconded by Ald. Patterson. The motion carried 2-l with Ald.
Sanders casting the dissenting vote.
The Committee reviewed policy on Health Insurance. Ald. Dumke
moved to amend to state that full-time Elected Officials will
have the same benefits as Non-represented employees for Health Insurance and that part-time Elected Officials will pay full

premium if they choose to participate in the plan. Seconded by
Ald. Patterson, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed salary for Parks Maintenance Person.
Ald. Sanders moved to recommend the following 18-Month Salary
of Parks Maintenance Person for 14 Week Summer Supervision to
$15.57 for 1993, $16.19 for 1994, and $16.84 for 1995. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed Offer to Purchase for a 5+ acre parcel
in the southwest section of the City's Industrial Park Addn. #l, abutting Enterprise Drive, in the amount of $28,00O/acre.
It was noted that the City is responsible for up to three (3)
culverts and the culverts should be installed within thirty (3)
days of closing. Ald. Sanders moved to recommend approval
contingent upon review and approval of the City Attorney.
Seconded by Ald. Patterson, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed conditions proposed by Little Muskego
Lake Dam Owners. Midwest Engineering has been requested to
incorporate the conditions into their agreement. Mr. William
Schneider and Mr. Ron Loebel were in attendance as
representatives of the affected homeowners.
The review of proposed 1993 Borrowing/Refinancing was referred
to Common Council meeting following this meeting.
Ald. Dumke moved to approve payment of General Vouchers in the
amount of $280,310.94 and Utility Vouchers in the amount of
$142,596.25. Seconded by Ald. Sanders, motion carried.
Ald. Patterson moved to defer action of Copy Plus, Inc. maintenance agreement for Police Department Copy Machine until
the 2/17/93 Finance Committee meeting.
