MINUTES OF MINUTES HELD SEPTEMBER 23, 1992
The Committee was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman
Salentine. Also present were Committee Members Dumke, Sanders
and Patterson, Ald. Simmons, Ald. Schneider, Ald. Misko, Ald.
Taube, Parks Director Theis, Recreation Director Jacobson,
Bldg. Inspection Director Dykstra, Superintendent of Public
Works Loughney, Librarian Holly Sanhuber and Chairman of the Library Board Ray Christenson.
The Committee reviewed the following 1993 Operation Budgets with the affected department head:
Parks Dept. and Historical Society - It was noted
that the proposed budget is 11% over 1992.
Recreation Dept. and Cable Club - The Parks Board to
look into fee structure for the Chorale. The Committee
requested the Department Head to further re-evaluate
revenue due to increase in programming and expense
expectations.
Public Works Department - Department will look into
method of monitoring fuel pumped to Parks Department.
Building Inspection Department
Library
The Finance Committee requested that all department budgets
come back to Committee with a 4% proposal.
