FCM19920825FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AUGUST 25, 1992 The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman Salentine. Also present were Committee Members Patterson and Sanders, Ald. Misko, Ald. Simmons, Ald. Taube and Ald. Schneider. The Committee discussed Cleaning Services for 1993. Ald. Patterson moved not to go out for bids for 1993 . Seconded by Ald. Sanders, motion carried. The Committee further reviewed figures for requested Amendment to Budget for Salaries/Benefits. Ald. Patterson moved to recommend approval of a transfer from Contingency of $189,747 to the various salaries/benefits accounts. Seconded by Ald. Sanders, motion carried. The Committee reviewed quotes for the exterior restoration project for the Parks Garage. Ald. Patterson moved to recommend approval of Alternate #2. Seconded by Ald. Sanders, motion carried. The Committee reviewed proposed amendment to Subdivider's Agreement for Bay Breeze Development. Mr. Luther Sander appeared before the Committee expressing his desire to have tennis courts, along with Mr. Brooks Boyce. The Developer, John Ingersoll explained the history of the tennis court and Mr. Jack Fox read a petition stating that 82% of the residents were against a tennis court. Ald. Sanders moved to recommend approval of amendment to Subdivider's Agreement pending City Attorney review. Seconded by Ald. Patterson, motion carried. Ald. Patterson moved to approve $1,500.00 for the Muskego Community Festival which was a 1992 budget item. Seconded by Ald. Sanders, motion carried. The requested budget amendment for the Plan Department was deferred until the September 2, 1992, meeting. Ald. Patterson moved to recommend approval of the following vouchers: General Vouchers $242,680.80 Utility Vouchers 20,730.75 The meeting adjourned at 8:20 P.M. Respectfully submitted, Ald. David J.
