FCM19920428FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD APRIL 28, 1992
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Salentine. Also present were Committee Members Patterson, Dumke and Sanders,
Chief Johnson, Ald. Simmons and Ald. Taube.
Chief Johnson appeared before the Committee to request a
transfer of funds from the Insurance Account #lOO-1100-7901 to
the Police Vehicle Replacement Account #lOO-2000-3910. Recently
an unmarked squad car struck a deer and was totaled out by the
City's~ insurance company. The insurance company issued the City
a check in the amount of $3,000; the approximate value we would
receive it if were traded in. The $3,000 was deposited in the
Insurance Account, leaving the Police Vehicle Replacement
Account $3,000 short. Aid. Patterson moved to approve the transfer of $3,000 from the Insurance Account, 100-1100-7901 to
the Police Vehicle Replacement Account, #lOO-2000-3910.
Seconded by Ald. Sanders, motion carried.
Chief Johnson also requested a Capital Budget Transfer of
$232.07 from the Police Capital Budget line item for Radio/Siren
Equipment to cover the shortage for purchasing lockers which is
short due to price increases. Ald. Dumke moved to approve transfer. Seconded by Ald. Patterson, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed request for release of Letter of Credit
for Golden Country Estates. July 1, 1992 is the cutoff date for final life of asphalt instead of the original July 31, 1992
date. The Developer has stated the City can draw on Letter of Credit if it is not done. The Committee determined that it will not be necessary for the Developer to extend the Letter of
Credit.
Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of General Vouchers in
the amount of $500,684.15 and Utility Vouchers in the amount of
$131,036.72.
The meeting adjourned at 7:20 P.M.
Respectfully submitted,
Ald. David J. Sanders
