FCM199203100 FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 10, 1992
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman
Salentine. Also present were Committee Members Dumke and Hilt,
City Clerk Marenda, Ald. Patterson, Ald. Taube and Ald. Simmons.
The Committee moved to correct minutes of February 25, 1992, to
reflect that the interest paid on the borrowing is 5.11%, not 4%.
The Committee reviewed request from City Clerk for temporary
help in the accounting area due to an employee's scheduled
surgery. Ald. Dumke moved to approve request for the part-time
bookkeeper to work full-time, with benefits, and also possible
overtime for other personnel. Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion
carried.
The Committee discussed 1992 Spring Election. Three candidates
have expressed interest in the 5th District vacancy due to the death of Harold L. Sanders. Ald. Hilt moved to retain Harold L.
Sanders' name on the ballot. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion
carried.
0 The request for release of escrowed money of Barrett Financial Guarantee was reviewed by the Committee. Ald. Hilt moved to
approve release subject to receipt of new financial guarantee in
the amount of $27,000.00.
Ald. Dumke moved to recommend the following Release of Funds
providing the fund balance will include the $34,000.00 for
engineering:
Lake Forest Multi-Family - $180,296
Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried.
Ald. Hilt moved to approve General Vouchers in the amount of
$524,148.64 and Utility Vouchers in the amount of $44,104.26.
Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 7:45 P.M.
