MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JANUARY 14, 1992
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman
Salentine. Also present were Committee Members Hilt, Dumke and H.
Sanders.
The Committee reviewed the following quotations for a 1992 l-ton
dump truck for the Parks Department which have been reviewed and
recommended by the Parks & Recreation Committee:
Bob Fish (West Bend) $21,200 Omaha Dump Body 8' Western Plow
Holz Motors (Hales Corners) $21,800 Omaha Dump Body

LeMay (Kenosha) $22,544 Heil Dump Body 8' Western Plow

Ald. Hilt moved to recommend approval of the low bid received from
Bob Fish (West Bend) in the amount of $21,200. Seconded by Ald.
Dumke, motion carried.
The Committee discussed briefly the City's request for Community
Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds in the amount of $43,885 for
Affordable Housing Demonstration project and $14,928 to pave
parking lot for polling place which has architectural barrier.
Ald. Hilt moved to recommend approval of application. Seconded by
Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed quote for repainting of Old Town Hall.
Ald. H. Sanders moved to approve the quote of $1,890.00 from George Bros. Painting of Hales Corners. Seconded by Ald. Dumke,
motion carried.
The following bids for the Lake Denoon Sediment Removal Project
were reviewed:

Ald. H. Sanders moved to recommended approval of the low bid from Krause Excavating, Inc. in the amount of $19,975. Seconded by
Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of General Vouchers in the
amount of $632,849.08 and Utility Vouchers in the amount of
$869,589.38. Seconded by Ald. H. Sanders, motion carried.
Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of service agreement for
the Police Department dictaphone machine with Dictaphone for
$2,819.00. Seconded by Ald. H. Sanders, motion carried.
