FCM19911126aDecember 3, 1991 I, Jean K. Marenda, City Clerk of the City of Muskego, do hereby certify that on December 2, 1991, Mayor Wayne G. Salentine of the City of Muskego did veto the Common Council action which approved the Finance Committee minutes of November 20, 1991, at their meeting held November 26, 1991, in order to allow time to address the request of Madison Underground for an extension of time on their Hillendale, North of Hwy. L sewer and water projects with the Common Council, City Attorney and City Engineer. Jean K. Marenda, CMC Ci'ty Clerk City of Muskego cc: Aldermen Attorney Molter l TO: COMMON COUNCIL CITY OF MUSKEGO December 9, 1991 I have vetoed the motion to approve the Finance Committee minutes of November 20, 1991. The minutes provided that Madison Underground be given a sixty (60) day extension from October 1, 1991 to December 1, 1991, for completion of the contract for the Hillendale-North of Hwy. L Sewer and Water Project. Due to the poor workmanship of road resurfacing, the liens filed by subcontractors, and the bonding company's notification to the City that it will be responsible for all release of funds, it is not in the City of Muskego's best interest to extend the time allowed for completion of work. I hope the Common council will react to Madison Underground's request for an extension by a motion to deny the extension. I’ z ,’ c .l , .ā€˜<.in- ~ +.*jl .4&L /I. Wayne G.
