FCM19911126FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 26, 1991 The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman Salentine. Also present were Committee Members Dumke and H. Sanders and Ald. D. Sanders. The Committee reviewed the following Dental Insurance Contracts for 1992: DENTAL Sinqle Family Dental Insurance of Wisconsin, Inc. 10.78 28.75 Samaritan Dental - Low Option 8.95 28.30 Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of the above dental insurance contracts for 1992. Seconded by Ald. H. Sanders, motion carried. The Committee reviewed the following Health Insurance Contract for 1992: PrimeCare "PLUS" with drug, (Single) $137.40 (Family) $348.00 vision, and oral surgical riders Ald. H. Sander moved to recommend approval. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried. Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of the AFSCME City Hall/Library and Telecommunicators labor contract for 1991-1992. Seconded by Ald. H. Sanders, motion carried. The Commercial Realty Contract with Mooney, LeSage was deferred until the December 4, 1991, meeting in order to discuss promotional budget with the representative. The Committee reviewed request from Matt Bennett, Parks Department, to use 30 l/2 hours of sick time in lieu of vacation time for emergency leave taken as a result of the fire in his residence to locate lodging for the family and the clean up involved. Ald. Dumke moved to deny use of sick time and recommended that vacation time be used. Seconded by Ald. H. Sanders, motion carried. Special Assessments for Terra development were reviewed for 32 lots for a total assessment of $1,378.90 per lot which reflects the costs of engineering provided by the City. Ald. H. Sanders moved to recommend amendment of Final resolution to reflect adjustment. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried. The Committee reviewed the following quotes for three new 1992 Chevrolet Caprice squad cars: Finance Committee - Page 2 November 26, 1991 Ewald Chevrolet $14,524 per unit less trade-ins Lynch Chevrolet 16,132 per unit less trade-ins The Waukesha County Chiefs' Association group vehicle purchase has awarded the quote to Ewald Chevrolet based on the low quote. Ald. Dumke moved to recommend the quote submitted by Ewald Chevrolet for a net cost of $32,972 (gross cost of $43,572 less trade-ins of three vehicles of $10,600) for the purchase of three Chevrolet Caprice squad cars. Seconded by Ald. H. Sanders, motion carried. The Sale of Surplus Equipment for the Police Department was removed from the agenda. The Committee determined that certain non-represented employees shall, effective January 1, 1991, be given a pension contribution of 744 per hour which is what has been agreed to in the AFSCME Settlement for 1991-1992. Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of the following release of funds: Lake Point Estates-West $ 52,OOO.OO Lake Forest Multi-Family $ 1,506.23 Lake Forest Addn. #l $211,201.28 Durhamswood #2 Lake Forest Original : 3,::;::: Lake Point Estates 293.00 Parkland Dr. South i 69.25 Audrey Court $ 2,292.63 Seconded by Ald. H. Sanders, motion carried. Ald. Dumke moved to approve payment of General Vouchers in the amount of $220,471.03 and payment of Utility Vouchers in the amount of $156,901.01. Seconded by Ald. H.
