MINUTES OF MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 12, 1991
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman Salentine. Also present were Committee Members Hilt, Dumke and H. Sanders, Ald. Simmons, Ald. D. Sanders and Stan Potrykus.
The Committee further discussed disallowance of claim for Salvatore Orlando. Ald. Hilt moved to recommend disallowance of claim. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed amended architectural services and proposal
submitted by Giles Engineering Associates. Ald. Hilt moved to
recommend approval of amendment to the Agreement to authorize PSI
Design to provide architectural and engineering services for the
Design Development Phase on an hourly rate basis not to exceed
$10,000 plus reimbursable expenses as identified in the Agreement,
which is in addition to the previously authorized fee of $2,500, and shall be credited against the maximum fee amount defined as 5%
of the Project Construction Cost and of the proposal submitted by Giles Engineering Associates, Inc. to provide the Geotechnical
Engineering Exploration and Analysis for the renovation of the Fire Station for a fee not to exceed $1,600. Seconded by Ald.
Dumke, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed request to waive permit fee for new roof on
machine shed at the Historical Society site. Ald. H. Sanders
moved to waive permit fee. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed the following quotes for Used Parks Equipment:
1973 Toro Ground Master - Tom Dahlman $1,778.99
1975 Jacobsen Out-front Loader - Tom Dahlman $1,399.00
1977 GMC l-Ton Dump Truck - Marvin Strasser $1,501.50
Ald. Hilt moved to recommend approval of the above quotes with the
understanding that the GMC l-Ton Dump Truck will not be sold if
the Capital Budget dump truck is not approved. Seconded by Ald.
Dumke, motion carried.
Ald. Hilt moved to recommend sale of Top Soil in the Industrial
Park to Nature's Nook for $750.00, plus tax, subject to the soil
being removed by Fall of 1992. Seconded by Ald. H. Sanders,
motion carried.
The Committee reviewed Employee Deferred Compensation Plan. Ald.
H. Sanders moved to recommend change in plan which will allow
benefits to be deferred until age 70 l/2. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed Agreement between City of Muskego and Muskego Volunteer Fire Company, with minor wording changes, and recommend approval.

The Telecommunicator part-time position item was removed from the
Agenda.
Ald. Hilt moved to recommend release of the following funds:
Ladwig Drive (Audrey Court) $58,000.00 Lake Forest Multi-family $2,170.31 Lake Forest Addn. #1 $10,892.60
Country Brook Estates $ 3,268.41
Pam Boehm appeared before the Committee to request release of
funds for Meadow Green West Addn. #2 which would leave a balance
in the Letter of Credit of $24,000.00. It was noted that
correspondence from the City Engineers, prior to November 12, 1991, recommended retaining $35,000.00. The Committee will confer
with the City Engineers to determine what amount should be
retained and the rest shall be approved for release. Seconded by
Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
Ald. H. Sanders moved to recommend approval of Service Agreement
for Pitney Bowes (mailing machine/City Hall) in the amount of
0
$426.00 and Cincinnati Time (Public Works time clock) in the amount of $110.00. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
