FCM19910709FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 9, 1991 The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman Salentine. Also present were Committee Members H. Sanders and Dumke, Ald. Taube, Ald. Patterson, Building Inspector Chuck Dykstra and Mr. John Glockner. The Committee approved the following restrictions for the Muskego Community Festival gathering permit: Friday, August 23, 1991 6:00 P.M. - 11:30 P.M. Saturday, August 24, 1991 2:OO P.M. - 12:OO P.M. Sunday, August 25, 1991 12:OO Noon - 1O:OO P.M. Ald. H. Sanders moved to approve the following applications for Soda Licenses: Checkers Pizza & Subs 576 W17969 Janesville Road Muskego, WI 53150 Hardees of Muskego 574 W17095 Janesville Road Muskego, WI 53150 Carolyn's Place 574 W17000 Janesville Road Muskego, WI 53150 Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried. Ald. H. Sanders moved to approve amendment to Choir Practice "Class B" Fermented Malt Beverage & Intoxicating Liquor license to include outside volleyball courts, picnic area and horseshoe area with an 11:OO P.M. time restriction. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried. Ald. Dumke moved to approve Refuse Haulers permit for Laidlaw Waste Systems, Inc. of Delafield. Seconded by Ald. H. Sanders, motion carried. The Committee reviewed Salvage & Recycling license for Mr. John Glockner. Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval subject to the barn being removed by September 1, 1991 and the Roof on Machine Shop repaired by November 1, 1991. Seconded by Ald. H. Sanders, motion carried. The Committee reviewed the Historical Society Lease and recommended Council approval. 0 Finance Committee - Page 2 July 9, 1991 The Finance Committee reviewed the following quotes received for purchase of the City's IBM System 36: Northwest Molded Products Co. $5,500 High Tech Metal Fabricators $2,850 Wiscomp $4,400 World Data Products $3,050 Dempsey Business $3,000 Newport Leasing, Inc. $3,325 Computer Marketing of America $4,300 Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of the quote from Northwest Molded Products Co. in the amount of $5,500. Seconded by Aid. H. Sanders, motion carried. The Committee reviewed offer to purchase for the Industrial Park Addition for Wesco Manufacturing. Wesco Manufacturing would like to exchange the originally purchased parcel on Saturn Drive for a larger parcel on Enterprise. The offer is for the asking price of $28,000.00 per acre. Ald. H. Sanders moved to recommend approval of offer and exchange of property. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried. The Committee deferred action on Lannon Drive deceleration lanes to allow Barker Homes representative, First Wisconsin Bank representative, Mr. Zillig and Pat McAdams to agree upon a financing plan for urban cross section estimated to be $46,294.. Chuck Dykstra appeared before the Committee to request transfer of funds to Contracted Services Account (0100.2500.2400) for plan review at the rate of $25.00 per plan. Ald. H. Sanders moved to recommend approval of transfer of $600.00 from Contingency Account to the Building Inspection Department Contracted Services Account account for plan review. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried. Ald. Dumke moved to approve payment of attorney bill for Attorney Molter for legal work for Stoneridge Landfill in the amount of $570.00. Seconded by Ald. H. Sanders, motion carried. The Committee recommended approval of amendment to the Bay Breeze Subdivider's Agreement to provide a boat slip for the Muskego Police Department for water patrol. Ald. Dumke moved to approve the following Release of Funds from Developer's Escrow Accounts: Sherwood Circle $500.00 Woodcrest Heights Addn $242.00 Lake Point Estates $106,192.50 Lake Forest Subdivision $317,963.53 e Finance Committee - Page 3 July 9, 1991 Seconded by Ald.
