MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 19, 1991
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman
Salentine. Also present were Committee Members H. Sanders and
Hilt.
The Committee conducted final review of liquor licenses for
1991-92 and noted the following changes:
MUSKEGO MOOSE LODGE # 1057 - Agent change from James LOvald to Ervin P. Kablitz.
VALLEY TAP - Doris Broadwick is requesting outside sales
in designated backyard until 11:00 P.M.
MLJSKEGO MEMORIES (formerly Sandy's Gateway). New applicants,
Kenneth & Judith Grenz, are requesting to license adjoining
restaurant (Checkers Pizza) and parking lot.
The Committee recommended approval of all of the reviewed 1991-92 liquor licenses subject to no outside sales after 11:OO P.M. for
Valley Tap and Muskego Memories.
Ald. Hilt moved to recommend approval of a gathering permit for the Muskego Community Festival and to waive fee. Seconded by Ald.
H. Sanders, motion carried.
Ald. H. Sanders moved to recommend approval of the following applicants for Operator's License subject to payment of fees and
receipt of favorable police report:

Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed request for funding Bay Lane baseball
field. Correspondence from Parks Director Peter Theis was read which advised that the Parks & Recreation Board, at their meeting
held May 13, 1991, moved to recommend that the City participate in the upgrading of the Bay Lane baseball fields up to 508, not to
exceed $7,500. The remaining 50% will be paid by the Muskego Athletic Association. Peter Theis suggested that a funding source be the $10,000 miscellaneous category included in the 1991 Parks Dedication budget of which only $500 has been used to date.
Ald. Hilt moved to approve request. Seconded by Ald. H. Sanders, motion carried.

The Committee reviewed correspondence dated June 13, 1991, from
Attorney Thomas Duggan, representing Magner Realty, owners of Lot
5, Block 1 in the Muskego Industrial Park. In compliance with the
Rules & Regulations of the Industrial Park, the owner is offering
right of first refusal to the City. Ald. Hilt moved to recommend
that the City not exercise its right to purchase Lot 5, Block 1 in the Muskego Industrial Park. Seconded by Ald. H. Sanders, motion carried.
The Committee discussed sale of Industrial Park fill soil. Ald.
H. Sanders moved to recommend that one-half of the soil be
advertised for sale. Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried.
Mayor Salentine updated the Committee on the AFSCME negotiations.
Both parties will now submit final offers.
The meeting adjourned at 8:30 A.M.
