MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 20, 1991
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman
Salentine. Also present were Committee Members Dumke and Hilt,
and Police Chief Johnson.
The Committee reviewed the following applicants for Operator's
Licenses:
Kristie Zimmerlee Michael Branzolewski
Erica Olson Linda Cefalu
Dave Milligan Lynn Redemacher
Susan Gordon
Ald. Dumke moved to approve above licenses subject to receipt of
payment and favorable police reports. Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed the Subdivider's Agreement & Letter of
Credit for Meadow Green West Subdivision Addn. #2. Ald. Hilt
moved to recommend approval pending review by the City Attorney and Dept. of Planning & Development. Seconded by Ald. Dumke,
motion carried.
Ald. Hilt moved to defer action on the Police Contract for 1991
until ratified by the Union. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion
carried.
Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of extending closing date for a parcel in the Industrial Park Addn. for R. J. Mueller from
April 6, 1991 to May 3, 1991.
Ald. Hilt moved to recommend approval of the 1991 Cooperative
Agreement for the Elderly Nutrition Program's use of facility
(Waukesha County Dept. of Aging). Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
The Committee discussed Water Patrol Replacement with Chief
Johnson. As a result of the resignation of Water Patrolman Gerry Warda, Chief Johnson is requesting authority to utilize $4,870.00
from the Water Patrol Account (100.2000.1113) to pay officers assigned to water patrol on overtime. Chief Johnson stated that the Water Patrol Account would be sufficient for both water patrol
and snowmobile patrol. Ald. Dumke moved to approve request.
Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried.

The Committee discussed Sgt. Warhanek's retirement with Chief
Johnson. Sgt. Warhanek will be retiring effective July 15, 1991, and his last day of work will be March 31, 1991. He will be using
up accumulated vacation and sick time. Chief Johnson is requesting authority to fill this position effective April 15,
1991. Ald. Hilt moved to approve filling of position effective
April 15, 1991. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
Discussion on Phone System for the Police Department was removed
from the agenda.
The Committee further discussed maintenance agreement for Police
Department Copy Machine at a cost of $560.00. Ald. Dumke moved to
approve agreement. Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried. Respectfully submitted,
