MINUTES OF MEETING HELD OCTOBER 24, 1990
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman
Salentine. Also present were Committee Members Dumke, Hilt and
H. Sanders, City Clerk Marenda, Chief Johnson and Ald. Patterson.
Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of the following applicant
for Operator's license subject to receipt of payment and
favorable police report:

The proposed 1991 Budget was reviewed.

Municipal Judge - Denied increase of $440/yr. salary; no change
in salary during term of office.
Planning & Development - Approved increase of 254 per hour for
draftsman.
Library - Approved the additional staff member; however,
disapproved the increase of $1,000. for overtime.
Recreation - Denied overtime for Assistant Recreation Supervisor;
classification PC 11 - Gymnastic & Dance Instructor salary -
shall be set at $17.10 per hour and not changed except through
action of Finance Committee.
Parks - Denied increase in salary for part-time grounds
personnel; denied additional seasonal person (560 hours).
Capital Budget - Recommended that the $60,500 requested for
Assessor's Revaluation be eliminated from 1991 Capital Budget; an additional $10,000 was added to the Police Department's Capital
Budget for 9-l-l for 1991.
A separate fund for Recycling will be established for revenues
and expenses.
