MINUTES OF MEETING HELD OCTOBER 17, 1990
The meeting was called to order by Council President Hilt. Also
present were Committee Members H. Sanders and Dumke, Ald. Taube,
Larry Schneider and Jim Dignin (Little Muskego Lake District),
and Marvin and John Strasser.
Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of the following
applicants for Operator's Licenses subject to receipt of payment and favorable police reports:
Jim Kinziger
Mark Krueger
Dodie Poplinski
Seconded by Aid. H. Sanders, motion carried.

The Committee further discussed the Parks Garage property. It
was noted that the Parks & Recreation Board has recommended
renovation of the Parks Garage not to exceed $110,000.
Representatives from the Little Muskego Lake District, Larry
Schneider and Jim Dignin, appeared before the Committee to state
they are interested in leasing the property to the north of the
garage for the storage of the Lake District's weed cutting
machines, conveyors, etc. Marvin and John Strasser indicated
they would be interested in purchasing a portion of the property
abutting their property. The Committee referred the two requests
to the Parks & Recreation Board for their recommendation and also
request that all of the above parties be notified of meeting
date.
The Committee reviewed the Subdivider's Agreement and Letter of Credit for the Breann Subdivision. The Committee questioned the
fact that the dedication of park money in lieu of road
improvements is not mentioned in the agreement. The Committee
requests that their concerns be answered.
Ald. Hilt moved to recommend approval of the following transfer received from Public Works Superintendent John Loughney:
$lO,OOO.OO to be transferred from #100.5900.3413 (Bridges & Dams-Other Materials) to #100.5500.3416
(Sand and Salt).
Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed the contract to be entered into between the City of Muskego and Waukesha County for provision of 911 Ald. Dumke moved to

start-up support costs from Waukesha County. recommend Council approval to execute agreement. Seconded by Aid. H. Sanders, motion carried.

The Committee reviewed correspondence from Parks Director Theis
dated October 9, 1990, recommending the addition of the following
projects:
Playground equipment $5,850.
Muskego Rec. Trail Connections:
1 - Bluhm Park $1,280
2- Horn Field 1,280
3 - Canfield Drive 750
Total $9,160
Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval. Seconded by Ald. H.
Sanders, motion carried.
Ald. H. Sanders moved to recommend release of $834.51 from the
Woodside Estates letter of credit for the payment of engineering
invoices. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
