Ms. Nancy Crewz appeared before the Committee with her attorney,
John T. Schober, to request approval of her application for agent for the Moose Lodge. Chief Johnson explained his refusal to
provide his signature for agent approval based upon his June 13, 1990, memorandum to the Finance Committee which referred to the
criminal complaint of Christopher and Jeffrey Crewz dated June
13, 1990. Attorney Schober emphasized that there were no previous violations while dispensing liquor as a Class B License holder for the past 8 years and as an operator for over 20
years. Mr. Jim Lovald, an officer of the Moose Lodge, and Ron Danielson, a friend and a Waukesha detective appeared as character witnesses for Ms. Crewz. The Committee determined that any liquor license violations are a reflection upon the holder of
that license. Ald. Dumke moved to deny application for agent for

MS. Crewz for the reasons stated above including but not limited

RE: Appointment of Nancy Crews,
Agent for Muskego Moose Lodge
On June 13, 1990, a warrant was issued fot Christopher Crews and
Jeffrey Crews alleging that they delivered cocaine to an
undercover officer in the Crews Inn Bar while on duty as
bartenders. The complaint also alleges that they conspired to
deliver cocaine on two other occasions from the premise and/or the
attached dwelling.
It appears that Chris and Jeffrey, who are the sons of Nancy
Crewz, were operating a drug business from the tavern and the
attached home.
It is, therefore, my opinion that Nancy Crewz was negligent in the
way she supervised the licensed premise and I believe she is not
responsible enough to be considered to be an agent for the Moose
Club license.
The application was signed in error and subsequently the signature
was erased.

RE: 1990-91 LICENSE APPLICATIONS
"CLASS 5" LICENSE HOLDERS
DORIS I. BROADWICK (Valley Tap)
Nancy Crews, the former license holder of this establishment
(formerly known as Crewz Inn), has not applied for renewal of her
License. Her mother, Doris Broadwick who is the owner of the
building, has applied for the license.
HILLSIDE CORP. OF WIS. (Hillside Inn)
Angela Casper has been appointed the new agent for the
corporation. Application includes outside bar with restriction of "No outside sales after 11:00 p.m.", which is the same as last
year.
MUSKEGO MOOSE LODGE #lo57 (Muskego Moose Lodge)
Nancy Crewz had applied as agent for the Muskego Moose Lodge, but
was not given the approval of the Police Chief. As of today, the officers of the corporation have not stated if they wish to
pursue obtaining approval of Nancy Crewz as their agent, or if they wish to name a new agent on their application.
R.L.C., INC. (Amann's Beach)
Applicant has listed concession stand, park and beach in premises description without time restriction. License issued Last year with 11:00 p.m. restriction.
NOTE: Carol Couillard (Carol's Place) and Adrienne Hansen
me's Bayside Inn) have not applied for renewal of their licenses. However, Adrienne Hansen has come into City Hall to
obtain the paperwork necessary to renew her license. I informed
her that the State has informed us that her seller's permit
number has been revoked, and the City may not issue her a Liquor license until she has a valid seller's permit number. I also informed her that she has $235.02 in personal property tax which
must be paid before issuance of her license. Mrs. Budish, owner of the building, came in with Mrs. Hansen and she too obtained
the necessary paperwork to apply for the license, should Mrs. Hansen be unable to clear up the situation with the State.
Clement ine Knutowski has app lied for a "Class B" license for her
restaurant, the Golden Lamb Cafe. Her license approval will be
on the July 10, 1990 Council agenda. 0
