MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JANUARY 17, 1990
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman
Salentine. Also present were Committee Members Hilt and H.
Sanders.
The following persons appeared to apply for an Operator's
License:
Debbie Sutton Steven Maciosek
Deorah Green Rachel Kallin Robyn Baker
Ald. H. Sanders moved to recommend Council approval of the above
applicants subject to receipt of favorable police reports.
Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed correspondence from Mr. & Mrs. Richard Zach dated December 30, 1989, stating that they felt the
inspection fees were in excess of reasonable inspection fees and
that they will not accept any further bills for final release of
funds. The Committee determined that the bills were actual costs
incurred for engineering inspection fees and recommends that a
letter be sent to Mr. & Mrs. Zach advising of the Committee's decision.
The Committee reviewed correspondence from Jackie Schweitzer,
Recreation Director, in regards to a letter addressed to Mayor
Salentine from the President of the Guernsey Meadows Homeowners
Association regarding default of the taxes on Outlot i/4 (off of
Linda Court). The Parks & Recreation Board is very interested in
seeing Outlot #4 become a part of the City park system. The Committee determined that Mayor Salentine will contact the
adjoining property owners to inform them of the City's intent and
enclose a copy of the correspondence from the Guernsey Meadows
Homeowners Association.
Correspondence from Jackie Schweitzer, Recreation Supervisor, was
reviewed which stated that an error had been made on her gross pay for 1989 and that she had been informed by the City Clerk
that an adjustment would be made in 1990. Mrs. Schweitzer was requesting that her W-2 form reflect the 1989 wages. Ald. Hilt moved to deny request of the Recreation Supervisor but does recognize the financial impact through the salary account if it
is necessary to amend the budget at the end of the year. Seconded by Ald. H. Sanders, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed the following Requests for Release of Funds:

services.
Meadow Green Subdivision - Release of $312.40 for
engineering services.
Ann Drive - Release of $99.00 for engineering services.
Lake Brittany Estates Add. #l - Release of $32.50 for engineering services.
Meadow Green-West - Release of $64.60 for engineering
services.
Parkland Drive Extended - Release of $1,040.00 for
engineering services.
Restful Lane - Release of $71.35 for engineering services.
Ald. Hilt moved to approve above releases. Seconded by Ald. H.
Sanders, motion carried.
