MINUTES OF MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 12, 1989 a
The meeting was called to order at 7:OO P.M. by Chairman
Salentine. Also present were Committee Members Hilt, Dumke and
H. Sanders, City Clerk Marenda, Ald. Patterson, Ald. Simmons,
Ald. Taube, Ald. D. Sanders and Seve Tietz of Community
Newspapers.
The Committee discussed salaries for Elected Officials. Ald.
Hilt moved to recommend a 6% increase to yearly salaries of all
elected officials, based on the two year settlement of the non-
represented City Employees. The $1,000.00 in lieu of pension for
the Assessor will be rolled into the Assessor's yearly salary
after the 6% increase. When the Finance Committee originally
granted the $1,000.00 increase in lieu of pension, it was
intended as a salary increase. Seconded by Ald. H. Sanders,
motion carried.
Ald Dumke moved to recommend payment of Utility Vouchers in the
amount of $3,068.55 and General Fund Vouchers in the amount of
$348,337.72. Seconded by Ald. H. Sanders, motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 7:25 P.M.
