Ald. Dumke informed the Committee of the recent meetings that

of the concrete invert property has refused renewal of the
shooting range if her property is part of the project. An
alternate storm drainage route was explored and it was determined
that it would require ditch upgrading on the Howard Schultz
property. Mr. Schultz was not receptive to this request; thus
requiring storm sewering the water an additional 500 ft. to a
drainage channel adjacent to the Klauser parking lot. This
results in an engineer's estimate of an approximate increase of
$10,000 in the project which is partially offset by relocating
the Suchy drainage cement invert. Mr. Sam Klauser is receptive
to providing an additional $6,000 toward the project if the
Common Council allows for a ten-year payment plan. The Committee
recommended that the City Engineer be contacted to proceed with
the project. Since the storm sewer is going to directly
discharge into the waterway of Big Muskego Lake, a Corp of
Engineer's permit is required. The timeliness of this permit is
unknown. It will require bidding the project without the Corp of
Engineer's permit in hand, if the 1989 installation time frame is
met.
with the plans and specification and bid the project, being fully
aware that if the Corp of Engineers permit is not received in a
timely manner, that the contract cannot be awarded.
