MINUTES OF MEETING HELD WEDNESDAY, MAY 17, 1989
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman
Salentine. Also present were Committee Members Hilt and H.
Sanders, and Treasurer Jean Sanders.
The following persons appeared to apply for an Operator's
License:
Barbara Stevens
Kathleen Schilz
Kari Vick
Masten Lawonn
Karen Kloskowski
Ald. Sanders moved to recommend approval of the above applicants
subject to receipt of favorable police reports. Seconded by Ald.
Hilt, motion carried.
The Committee continued review of 1989-90 License Applications.
The Committee discussed funds for the Muskego Community
Festival. Ald. Sanders moved to recommend approval of release of
$1,200.00. Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried.
0 The proposed ordinance regarding Accounts Receivable was deferred
until the May 23, 1989 meeting.
Treasurer Sanders appeared before the Committee to discuss her
request to make the Treasurer position a full-time position. The
Finance Committee will review both the part-time Mayor and part-
time Treasurer positions and will allocate a thirty minute period
for regular Wednesday Finance meetings to study positions. The
Committee determined that if a change from part-time to full-time
is recommended for either position, or both, that a Public
Hearing will be held prior to formal recommendation being made to
the Common Council.
The Committee reviewed request from Recreation Supervisor to
carry-over approximately 30-3/4 hours of vacation. Ald. Sanders
moved to recommend acceptance noting that this will be the last
time vacation carry-over will be allowed for Mrs. Schweitzer as
employees should use their vacation hours in the year they are
earned. Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 7:50 P.M.
