FCM19890314FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 14, 1989 The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman Salentine. Also present were Committee Members Dumke, Hilt and Penovich, Ald. Taube, Ald. Sanders and County Supervisor Frank DeAngelis. Mayor Salentine advised the Committee that on Monday, March 13, 1989, he interviewed Mary Alice Tomes for an Operator's License. Ald. Hilt moved to approve license subject to receipt of favorable police report. Seconded by Aid. Dumke, motion carried. The Committee discussed Offer to Purchase for City-owned land - McShane with Mr. Ross and Mr. Reuss. Mr. Reuss stated that they would be receptive to dropping the contingency for rezoning. Ald. Hilt moved to recommend that the City Attorney prepare a counter-offer agreeing to the purchase price of $102,800, and deleting contingency of rezoning. Seconded by Ald. Penovich, motion carried. Attorney Molter will prepare the counter-offer with a closing to be no more than forty-five days from acceptance of the counter-offer. The Committee discussed release of funds for Meadow Geen West Subdivision along with correspondence from Ruekert & Mielke dated March 7, 1989. Ald. Hilt moved to approve release of $57.234.61, with an amount of $10,000 being withheld for engineering account. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried. Ald. Hilt moved to approve payment of General Vouchers in the amount of $150,549.92. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried. Ald. Dumke moved to approve payment of Utility Vouchers in the amount of $1,014,218.74. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 7:lO P.M. Respectfully submitted, Ald. Mitchel E.
