MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AUGUST 23, 1988
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman
Salentine. Also present were Committee Members Dumke, Hilt and Penovich and Ald. Sanders.
The Committee discussed Offer to Purchase for city-owned land on
McShane with Lynn Kurer and Wayne Bushberger. Ald. Hilt moved to
approve subject to review by City Attorney. Seconded by Ald.
Penovich, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed bid received from Timme, Inc. for
installation of the Racine Avenue culvert in the amount of
$35,990.75. Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of bid.
Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed request for Release of Funds-Woodcrest
Heights Subdivision and correspondence from City Engineers dated 8116188. Ald. Hilt moved to approve release of $142.779.60.
Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
The Committee discussed Smart Money Program of Wisconsin Electric
Company. Ald. Hilt moved that bids be obtained on this
project. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed request for Release of Funds for Glen Oaks Subdivision. Ald. Dumke moved to approve release of $32,000 per
City Engineer's recommendation. Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion
carried.
The Committee discussed authorzing Public Officials to issue Non-
traffic citations. Ald. Hilt moved to recommend approval. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
Ald. Hilt moved to approve payment of Amended General Vouchers in the amount of $620.534.45. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. motion
carried.
