FCM19880420> “. _ Amended FINANCE COMMITTEE - CITY OF MUSKEGO 0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD APRIL 20, 1988 The meeting was called to order at 8:Ol P.M. by Chairman Salentine. Also present were Committee Members Dumke, Hilt and Penovich. Based on the Mayor's interview, Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of an Operator's License for Megan Molkentin. Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried. The following persons appeared to apply for an Operator's License: Rebecca Forseth Terri Gasparek Jacqueline Jankowski Kirk Higgins Dolores Stoltmann Jack Willborn Luke Klink Kristi Gorski Debra McCulloch Dave Stepanski Ald. Hilt moved to recommend approval subject to receipt of favorable police reports. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried. The Committee reviewed Golden Estates Subdivider's Agreement. Ald. Penovich moved to recommend approval with the following amendment to be added as a second para raph to Secion IV, Inspections and Administration Fees: F 'That the Developer and the City hereby agree that at the time of execution of this agreement, the Developer shall pay to the City the sum of $17,355.46, which will be the full contribution due from the Developer as to the total drainage area." Seconded by Aid. Hilt, motion carried. The Committee reviewed minutes of previous meeting in regard to sale of property on Ruby Drive with Mr. Tom Harr. The Mayor will contact Mr. Bauer to discuss location of garage on city property in question. This item has also been referred to the Parks & Recreation Board for their review. The Committee discussed amended expenditure for road resurfacing Ald. Hilt moved to amend the 1988 Capital Budget to adjust the $43,000 allocated for Bay Lane road resurfacing to $3,000 with the remainder to be designated for general highway improvements. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried. The Committee reviewed correspondence from Police Chief Johnson dated April 7, 1988, regarding reimbursements for items lost or damaged by officers on duty. Ald. Dumke moved to deny any request that is a result of carelessness of an officer, as in the case of Sgt. Meeks' prescription sunglasses. l Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried. ;’ Finance Committee - Page 2 April 20, 1988 0 The Committee discussed expenditure for Emerald Park of $1,500 for engineering consultation. Ald. Hilt moved to send back to the Emerald Park Negotiating Committee to review by new committee chairman. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried. The Developer's Agreement for the Schuler property was removed from the agenda. The Committee discussed upgrading of animal cages. Ald.
