MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JANUARY 26, 1988
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman
Salentine. Also present were Committee Members Dumke, Hilt & Penovich, Ald. Sanders, Ald. DeAngelis and Ald. Patterson.
The following person appeared to apply for an Operator's License:
Linda Kolander
Ald. Dumke moved to recommend Council approval subject to receipt of favorable police report. Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried.
The minutes of the previous meeting were reviewed in regard to
Uncollectable Personal Property Taxes. Ald. Hilt moved to direct the Controller to write-off as uncollectable Coffel Construction
($70.93) and Image Maker ($43.00) per recommendation of City Attorney. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed request for Transfer of Funds for 1987 from Parks Supervisor Theis dated January 22, 1988. The request
is to transfer $462.75 from account 7300-5100 to account 7300- 5200 to cover purchase of ice control pellets. Ald. Hilt moved
to approve transfer. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed expenditure for bus to transport citizens
to the Natural Resource Committee's public hearing on Landfill Legislation in Madison on Thursday, January 28, 1988. Ald. Dumke
moved to approve expenditure from Miscellaneous Expenditure Account (100-8400-3212). Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried.
The Committee discussed authorizing acceptance of improvements for the Aud Mar Estates Subdivision. Corrspondence from
Administrative Assistant Gene Kovacs dated January 19, 1988 was reviewed. Ald. Hilt moved to approve. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed application for Alarm Permit for Mr. &
Mrs. Richard Nilsson. Ald. Hilt moved to recommend approval. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 7:25 P.M.
