MINUTES OF MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 24, 1987
The meeting was called to order'at 7:00 P.M. by Chairman
Salentine. Also present were Committee Members Dumke and Penovich, Ald. DeAngelis, Ald. Sanders, Ald. Taube and Ald.
Patterson,
The Committee discussed clarification of Release of Funds for
Meadow Green Subdivision. Ald. Dumke moved to release $28,000
per engineer's recommendation. Seconded by Ald. Penovich, motion
carried.
The Committee reviewed memorandum from Chief Johnson regarding
the purchase of squad cars. The Police Department is requesting
that the Finance Committee recommend to the Common Council the
acceptance of the net bid of $24,328 from Holz Chevrolet for
three (3) 1988 Chevrolet squad cars. This bid is the result of the Waukesha County Law Enforcement Consortium Vehicle Purchase
Program and represents the low bid net for the Consortium. The cost in within the 1988 budget amount. Ald. Dumke moved to
recommend approval of bid for $24,328. Seconded by Ald. Penovich, motion carried.
0 The Committee discussed Blue Cross/Blue Shield Insurance Proposal
with premiums for Single Plan of $105.85 and Family Plan of
$285.98. Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval. Seconded by
Ald. Penovich, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed amendments to Restated Pension Trust. The Committee directs the Labor Attorney, Attorney Charles Stevens, to amend Trust to exclude July entry date.
Ald. Dumke moved to approve amended General Vouchers in the
amount of $818,819.64. Seconded by Ald. Penovich, motion
carried.
