MINUTES OF MEETING HELD NOVEMBER 4, 1987
The meeting was called to order at 7:03 P.M. by Chairman
Salentine. Also present were Committee Members Dumke, Hilt and
Penovich.
The following persons appeared to apply for an Operator's
License:

Tim Koelpin
Ald. Hilt moved to recommend Council approval subject to receipt of favorable police reports. The Committee requests that the
owner of Crossroads be called to verify knowledge of Tim
Koelpin's police record, before issuance. Seconded by Ald.
Penovich, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed Promotional Budget - Industrial Park
Addition with Mike Mooney and Tony Bareta. Ald. Hilt moved to
approve $13,000 for Industrial Park Promotional Budget. Seconded
by Ald. Dumke, motion carried. It was noted that money would be taken from Borrowed Money Account.
The Committee discussed Listing Agreement - Mooney, LeSage h
Associates. Ald. Penovich moved to recommend approval of Listing
Agreement from November 27, 1987 to November 27, 1988. Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried.
The Committee discussed Waiving of Fees for Women's Softball
Tournaments with Ron Ford. A lenghty discussion took place
regarding tournament fees and donations made by league teams.
The Committee will discuss matter with Ald. Patterson to determine the Parks & Recreation Board's feelings.
The Committee discussed present Liquor Ordinance with Mr. Steve
Oschmann. Correspondence from City Attorney Molter dated
November 15, 1984 was reviewed. The Committee decided ordinance
change would not solve the problem and that owners of tavern real
estate be notified by the City as to their potential license problems with leases.
The Committee discussed recapturing fees for Investigative
Reports. Ald. Hilt moved to amend the Ordinance to allow for a
$5.00 Investigative Fee in addition to the $25.00 fee. Seconded
by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
The Committee reviewed correspondence from Treasurer Sanders
requesting an extension of the date for partial payment of 1987 Real Estate Taxes to the last day of February, 1988. Ald. Dumke moved to recommend approval of extension of deadline. Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion carried.

The Committee reviewed Letter of Credit and Subdivider's
Agreement for Glen Oaks Subdivision. Ald. Dumke moved to
recommend Council approval. Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion
carried.
The Committee reviewed memorandum from City Clerk regarding
requests for receiving paychecks on Tuesday, November 10, 1987,
in lieu of the scheduled Wednesday, November 11, 1987, due to the
banks being closed on November 11, 1987 for Veteran's Day. Aid. Dumke moved to deny request. Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion
carried. /
Ald. Hilt moved to approve payment of General Vouchers in the
amount of $501,564.46. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
Ald. Hilt moved to approve payment of Sewer Utility Vouchers in
the amount of $96,135.64. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion
carried.
